Daniel Anstandig, President/Chief Executive Officer

As CEO and Co-Founder of Listener Driven Radio (LDR), Anstandig leads the software company in developing innovative interactive programming tools for broadcasters. LDR's premiere “crowdcasting” product, which integrates real-time audience voting into a radio station’s live playlist, is on the air at Citadel Broadcasting, CBS, Virgin Radio in Europe, Harvard Broadcasting, Clear Channel Radio, and several other major broadcasters around the world.

During Anstandig's tenure as President of McVay New Media consulting, he advised The Wall Street Journal, CBS News, Clear Channel R&D, The White House Commission on Remembrance, Glencoe-McGraw Hill, and various broadcasting companies in the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Anstandig is the author of Radio-Info's CONNECTED newsletter, a weekly trendletter reporting on the convergence of broadcast and digital media. Daniel's research and editorials on radio and interactive media have been published in The Wall Street Journal, Radio Ink Magazine, Radio and Records (R&R), Billboard Magazine, Billboard Radio Monitor, Gavin, Radio World Magazine, FMQB, and Christian Radio Weekly.

A proud two-time recipient of Edison Media Research's 30 Under 30 Award, Daniel has also been recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine for his work as a young entrepreneur.

Anstandig is a frequent speaker for the National Association of Broadcasters, State Broadcasters Associations, Radio Ink Convergence, Canadian Music Week, and other conventions around the world.

Brian Seeders, Chief Technology Officer

Brian Seeders is Chief Engineer at Listener Driven Radio, managing the company’s growing technology platform. Seeders’ experience includes work in IT/Network Administration as well as web application design, product design, and hands-on development. Prior to joining LDR, Brian participated in the development of a number of web-based and mobile applications. A pioneer in the crowdsourcing space, Brian has led the LDR engineering team in the development of the platform’s “crowdcasting” abilities—empowering audiences to drive radio station programming in real time. This has included leadership in the development of LDR’s automation system and music scheduling system integration.

Maureen Lesourd, Chief Revenue Officer

Lesourd oversees the company's affiliation and sales efforts and work with LDR's executive team on the continued innovation of LDR's interactive audience platforms. Named one of Radio Ink's Most Influential Women in Media, Lesourd is a veteran market manager and recognized industry leader. Most recently, she was VP/Programming and Distribution for Cumulus Media Network. Her successful management track record at WRQX-FM/Washington DC, WQCD/New York, CBS Radio/Detroit and Los Angeles, and ABC Radio/Los Angeles makes her an extraordinary resource for LDR affiliates.

Jami Williams, Manager, Affiliate Sales

Jami Williams transitioned to the network syndication business after working in media sales, including National Sales at Interep in Dallas, National Sales Manager for Susquehanna Dallas, and Local Sales Manager for KTCK/Dallas. Most recently, Williams was the Manager of affiliate sales for music and entertainment products at Cumulus Media Network. Williams manages the company's affiliate sales growth and consult radio stations on their ratings, revenue, and web traffic success with LDR.

Victor Caballero, VP/Programming

Victor Caballero has been developing music programming in the CHR, Rhythmic, Urban, and Spanish formats since 1995 with a track-record of success in San Antonio, Dallas, San Diego and Los Angeles. A pioneer in bi-lingual programming in the US, Caballero’s experience includes programming and on-air work at KXTN-FM/San Antonio, KRBV-FM/Dallas, KXOL-FM/Los Angeles, and a number of internationally syndicated shows with the Radio Express Network. Caballero works with LDR affiliate stations to achieve ratings success using LDR software.

Gale Parmelee, Programming Specialist

Gale Parmelee helps each LDR partner to achieve success on the platform. Gale brings focus and speed to each installation, having served as a brand manager, consultant, programmer, producer, and on-air talent through his twenty years in the media business. Gale’s experience includes seven years with Clear Channel as Brand Manager and Operations Manager/Program Director for stations in Burlington, VT (WEZF/Star 92.9) and Lebanon, NH (WXXK/Kixx100.5). He has also advised stations in the Adult Contemporary, Classic Hits, and Country Formats throughout New England. Gale’s true passion for radio and the "infinite dial," has fueled his passion to help others in the industry grow their business and increase revenue. In addition to Gale’s duties as LDR’s CRM he is also the owner of Otter Creek Media and the Executive Producer of the nationally syndicated “Nan O’Brien Show."

Tracy Gilliam, Sales Support Specialist

Tracy T. Gilliam applies her two-plus decades of radio broadcast sales, management and executive leadership talents to lead her team in providing research support to LDR clients worldwide. Her experience as a former VP/GM at a medium market media cluster as well as her executive sales management experience at large-market radio stations such as KRTH-FM in Los Angeles (CBS Radio) make her a vital asset to LDR affiliates looking to monetize the platform locally. Ms. Gilliam also has a track record of success in turnaround efforts at the departmental and operational levels. Her sales management experience includes National Sales Manager at KMOX-AM in St. Louis, Market Manager for Clear Channel Radio in Omaha, and General Sales Manager for heritage classic hits station KRTH-FM in Los Angeles. Ms. Gilliam is a 2010 graduate of the National Association of Broadcasters “Broadcast Leadership Training” program.

Craig Bowman, Support Engineer

A veteran engineer and specialist in radio automation, Craig Bowman offers first-class engineering support to LDR affiliates. Bowman's career includes leadership positions in engineering at radio networks and stations as well as key roles in radio automation companies. He began his radio career in 1979 in Western North Carolina at stations in Marshall, Black Mountain, Canton, and Waynesville where he doubled as PM Drive announcer and engineer. It was in North Carolina where Craig first encountered automation systems. A Sparta automation was used on the FM which was later was replaced by a cassette based Systemation system.

In 1986, Craig managed the engineering of WMYI/Greenville's highly successful launch. As part of his leadership at WMYI, Craig maintained the station PC network and IBM mainframe (for Traffic software) as well as a Mac network for Promotions and Management. In 1987, Craig was recruited by Bob Herman of Herman and Associates (later RF Projects Corporation) to join his staff as a Consulting Engineer. While at RF projects, Craig was the director of special projects which included a variety of responsibilities from studio and transmitter design and construction to modifying the master antenna system at the World Trade Center NYNY to accommodate then WYNY.

As the Director of Engineering for Liggett Broadcast Group, Craig was an early adopter of radio automation. He was the first customer of Media Touch Music and Scott Studios. After several years with Ligget Broadcast Group, building multi-million dollar facilities for and helping the group to grow from 5 stations to 17, Craig joined Scott Studios Corporation.

As an engineer with Scott Studios Corporation, he installed hundreds of automation systems in stations around the world. Craig also led special projects with Ibeam, Music Booth, WQXR, and many others. In 2001, Craig joined Prophet Systems Innovations to help with system integration of the NexGen system, where he installed Nexgen automation at a number of major market radio stations, including Clear Channel Communications. Craig continues to work with radio and television stations as a consulting engineer.

Mike McVay, Board Member and Co-Founder

Mike McVay began his career at the age of 15 in 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as an air personality, while completing his education. He has programmed radio stations in Wheeling, Charleston, Louisville, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Cleveland. He was a general manager in Mobile and Cleveland. Mike, along with his wife Doris, have also owned and operated radio stations in Naples, Key West, Honolulu, and Flint, Michigan. McVay Media was founded as a part-time entity in 1979 and became his full-time avocation in 1984. He is the author of several broadcast primers, has written for Radio & Records and FMQB magazines as well as has contributed to Radio Ink magazine. His resume includes many public-speaking engagements around the world. Mike averages two public speaking appearances per/month.

Mike was involved in the creation and launch of the highly rated nationally syndicated program Delilah and he currently consults the much touted John Tesh Radio Show. His company consults Radio Stations, Artists/Singers, Syndicated Radio Programs and Networks, Television Programming, Authors and boasts a much publicized internet division named McVay New Media. The company has a New Business Development initiative that is developing new sales and programming products for advertisers.

Among the recognition he has received in his career is nominations for Consultant of The Year from Billboard Magazine, and Radio & Records Magazine. Mike won the Ohio Media Leader of The Year Award, Broadcaster of the Year from The Cleveland Association of Broadcasters and Mike won the Radio Music Award for Broadcast Consultant of The Year during the 2007 RMA’s in Las Vegas. For an unprecedented third year in a row he has been recognized as the Broadcast Executive of the Year (2006, 2007 and 2008) for Radio & Records magazine.

He lives in Avon Lake, Ohio, with his wife Doris. They are the parents of two daughters, Nicole and Jessica, son-in-law Jim Lanigan and one Granddaughter (Elle Jaimes Lanigan) and lots of nieces and nephews including Michael A. McVay II and Michael I. Fmura. Hobbies include collecting exotic cars, antique radios, reading, biking, and the search for the eternal tan. Mike & Doris are involved in their church and support several charities.

Lee Zapis, Board Chairman and Co-Founder

After more than 25 successful years as a radio executive, Lee Zapis joined forces with other family members to form Zapis Capital Group in 2003, a small private equity investor. Through Zapis Capital Group and on his own Zapis has been an active investor in technology and media companies. He was one of the early investors in Everstream, a streaming media pioneer. Most recently he invested in and joined the board of Sonicbids (www.sonicbids.com), the premier web site that helps bands get gigs, and promoters book the right bands.

Zapis is also part owner of Media One Group, owner of a five-station cluster in Jamestown, NY. He also serves as CEO of Symphony Publishing, a multimedia organization with leading magazines, e-newsletters, directories and websites serving music educators and independent retailers of musical instruments, children’s wear and footwear.

During his broadcast career, Lee was president of Zapis Communications, a closely held corporation that owned and operated radio stations in Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown, Ohio, as well as Atlanta and Boston. Under Lee’s guidance, his stations received numerous national broadcast awards, including: Billboard Magazine's Black Radio Station of the Year; Program Director of the Year; Music Director of the Year and Air Personality of the Year. Zapis Communications stations were also nominated eight times for the Marconi award, the highest honor of the National Association of Broadcasters. The company never won the coveted prize, preventing Lee from delivering the acceptance speech he practiced for 8 years.

Zapis is a former chairman of the board of the Orthodox Christian Network (www.receive.org), a national radio ministry. And he currently serves on the advisory board of the Nashville Songwriters Foundation, which honors and preserves the songwriting legacy of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (www.nashvillesongwritersfoundation.com).

In spite of his busy schedule, Lee finds time to indulge his passion for music. He enjoys collecting custom guitars, and claims to be a passable player who loves practicing the music of renowned gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Although he admits to being far from the caliber of Reinhardt, Lee paid further homage to his hero by naming his dog Django.
